Conferences
The Mathematics Department at the College of Charleston has hosted and organized a number of conferences and workshops, and has one coming up in 2020:

Some previous events include:
- The NSF-CBMS Conference on Topological Methods in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence May 2019
- The Spring 2017 Southeastern Sectional Meeting of the American Mathematical Society.
- The Midwestern Conference on Combinatorics and Combinatorial Optimization in October 2015 (jointly hosted with the Citadel), also hosted here in 2007.
- The Southeast Lie Theory Workshop. This annual conference floats between various locations. It was hosted at the College of Charleston in December of 2012
- The South-Eastern Geometry Conference. This annual conference floats between various locations. It was moste recently held here in March 2012, and before that in April 2010.
- Cha-Cha Days (2004-2010) a.k.a. the SouthEastern Mathematical Sciences Workshop, SEAMS. This popular two-day conference, co-hosted by the College of Charleston and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focused on networking students and young researchers in the mathematical sciences.
