The Robert Scott Small building is directly opposite Maybank Hall. (People who have been here for a while may remember it as the "Small Library", since it served as the library prior to 2005.) If you are looking into the face of the cougar statue near Calhoun Street, RSS is the building on your right. You enter via an exterior staircase that puts you on the second floor. So, once you are inside, to get to the math department on the third floor you just have to go up one more floor.
