For the 2008 Southeast Geometry Conference, please go here.

The 17th annual Southeast Geometry Conference will be held at the College of Charleston, in historic Charleston, South Carolina.  The talks, which will begin in the morning on Saturday, March 4th and conclude on the afternoon of Sunday, March 5th, 2006, will take place in the room 207 of the Tate Center at #9 Liberty Street (see campus map).
Students and researchers from all areas of geometry (including, but not limited to, algebraic geometry, differential geometry, symplectic geometry, and applications of geometry to mathematical physics) will be presenting their research in 40-minute talks. This year the conference will have a special focus on connections between geometry and physics.
The conference is free and open to the public. Feel free to show up unannounced if you would like to attend, but if possible, please let us know that you are coming so that we can be sure to have enough coffee and seating for everyone.

The SEGC is supported by the National Science Foundation and by the Department of Mathematics at the College of Charleston.
