This track is designed for students
who are interested in applications of mathematics to other disciplines.
Related areas include statistics, biometry, economics, physics, information
science, and chemistry. Applied mathematics majors, in consultation with
their advisors, should develop proposed areas of application and submit
them to the department committee on the major for evaluation.
